I used to love this guy in High School. Well, I used to say I loved him. There was a nimbus of mystery, of fascinating strangeness and untamed wildness that surrounded him. I felt drawn to it not having the least idea why. The man was weird, he drew, he painted, he wrote screenplays and prose. I tried to read them – they made no sense.
